Bianchi, a holster brand within The Safariland Group, has announced a new holster line: the Old Tuscany Italian Leather line. The Old Tuscany line consists of four handcrafted leather holsters, each with its own unique features and benefits.
The Old Tuscany Italian Leather line products include inside-the-waistband and outside-the-waistband options. Since the brand started in 1958, Bianchi has produced high-quality products, all hand-molded for a supreme fit. The four new holsters, the Cortona, Fucecchio, Lajatico, and the Vicopisano follow the prestigious line of holsters since the start of the brand.
“In keeping with the innovation and quality that Safariland and Bianchi products are known for, we are thrilled to offer our customers new IWB and OWB holsters crafted from fine Italian leather,” said Eric Gasvoda, GM of Duty Gear for Safariland. “The Old Tuscany line is the perfect blend of quality, craftsmanship, and style.”
Up first is the Cortona, an IWB holster constructed from full-grain leather. This holster is a good option for large pistols with key features like red dot sight compatibility, a rugged spring steel belt clip, and a sturdy single-piece construction. This holster is a good combination of durability and aesthetic sophistication, according to the company. The holster has an MSRP of $84.
The second new holster is the Fucecchio, an OWB option designed for small-of-back concealment with a deep 30-degree cant angle. The full-grain leather has an open-top design that allows for a fast draw, perfect for an everyday concealed carry option. The Fucecchio has a flat rear profile for a close body fit and adjustable tension for a personalized fit. The holster has an MSRP of $94.
The Lajatico holster is up next also constructed of full-grain leather, like the others, and features a secure thumb strap for retention. Thanks to the dual front belt loops, the OWB Lajatico can be worn with a range of cant angles so the user always has an efficient draw. It has a flat rear profile for a tight body fit and can be worn on either the left or right for a cross-draw option. The Lajatico OWB holster has an MSRP of $92.
The last of the new holsters is the Vicopisano, an OWB holster with a secure thumb strap for retention. Constructed from full-grain leather, it has contrast stitching accents making it visually appealing as much as it is functional. The holster also offers dual front belt loops, giving the user plenty of options for cant angles, and a flat rear profile to keep it tight against the body. The Vicopisano can be worn on the right or left for a cross-draw. The Vicopisano OWB holster has an MSRP of $144.
