Your 2023 Christmas Gift Guide

As I write this, it’s the final day of November. This means the next big event for many of us is Christmas or Hannukkah. All the fun winter holidays that inspire gift-giving and general merriment are right around the corner. If you’re reading this, you’re likely a gun guy or gal, or you know gun guys and gals. With that in mind, do you ever feel frustrated or annoyed when you start shopping for gifts, stocking stuffers, and the like? Well, you landed at the right spot. We got the stocking stuffers, the fun stuff, the good stuff, and the stuff to show off with.

We’ve tried to tackle all budgets and give a little something to everyone.

Stocking Stuffers

Stocking stuffers cover our lower-priced items, our simple stuff, and our affordable options for everyone. Stocking stuffers won’t break the bank and give you easy options for every situation.

Magpul Krampus Beanie

The Magpul Krampus Beanie is one of Magpul’s many silly but awesome releases. Magpul might be famous for their magazines, but it’s little items like this that really endear them to their customers. This uber-cheap little beanie won’t just keep heads warm but will ultimately give the end receiver a big smile. The full knit pattern, all colored, and the tacky pom-pom on the top give it that ugly Christmas sweater look that will endear it to the giftee forever.

Mantis TRT Tap Rack Dry Fire Aid

If you have a shooter in your life that’s dedicated to training, then the Mants TRT devices are fantastic for training purposes. For less than ten bucks, you insert this small device into your magazine, and it prevents the bolt of your AR-15 rifle from locking open. The design stays put and makes it easy to work your reloads. With the device inserted, you can use the bolt release, and replicate reloads on the fly without the need for dummy ammo. Trust me, the convenience alone makes it worth the cost of admission.

Amend2 Glow-In-the-Dark AR Magazines

I got to toss on a GunMagWarehouse exclusive on this list. The big bosses at GMW teamed up with the folks at Amend2 to bring a special magazine to the market. The Amend2 Glow In the Dark AR magazines are a good bit of fun that gives your mags a very unstealthy-like appeal. These 30-round AR mags are a ton of fun and deliver a rather novel approach to their design. They are reliable, affordable, and just so happen to glow in the dark.

The Fun Stuff

The fun stuff gets a little more expensive but still maintains an affordable price point. The fun stuff might be a little more purpose-driven than the stocking stuffers.

Magpul MS3 Sling

My new favorite rifle sling is the Magpul MS3. Magpul makes good stuff; it’s just what they do. With that in mind, when they dived into slings, people were right to be a little suspicious. However, they knocked it out of the park and the MS3 is a modular, multipurpose sling that allows the user to convert the sling from a traditional tactical two-point to a mobility-friendly single-point design. It’s a quick-adjust design that gives you a modern spin for your modern weapon platform.

ISOtunes Advance Electronic Hearing Protection

Ear protection has only recently changed in the last few years. It’s finally begun to integrate better technology and lower prices. The ISOTunes Advance Electronic Hearing Protection is a lot like Apple Airpods but less tryhard. They are Bluetooth earbuds that can cancel out loud noises while amplifying quiet ones. Of course, this can be shut off entirely, and you can just jam to Wu-Tang Clan while shooting at the range. They become quite useful when you take classes or participate in competitions and need to listen to the RO or instructor. Every shooter needs some electronic ear pro.

Nexbelt (Any of Them)

I’ve switched to Nexbelt and pretty much thrown all of my other belts away. Nexbelt combines a rigid belt that’s perfect for carrying a gun without looking like a gun belt. It’s a simple design that’s stylish with most clothing options. The ratcheting system allows you to get it just right for your waist size and for carrying guns, mags, and more. The belts come in several different designs, and any of them would be a great gift for the concealed carrier in your life.

The Good Stuff

The good stuff takes us into a higher level of cost but a higher level of quality. The good stuff is perfect for that family member or friend who’s close to you, and you aim to make their Christmas day special.

Mantis Blackbeard AR15 Trigger System

The Mantis Blackbeard is a revolutionary dry fire system for any AR-15 owner. (An SIG MCX now.) It’s a drop-in bolt and battery system that allows you to pull your trigger with a constant reset. You can dry fire a laser just like a semi-auto rifle. It even works with full auto designs. The Blackbeard system allows for an unparalleled degree of training that is not only fun but educational. It’s pricey but worth every penny.

The Holosun P.ID HC

If your friend or family member needs a new weapon-mounted light, specifically for a handgun, then the Holosun P.ID HV will bring them a new level of light and power without breaking the bank. It packs 800 lumens and a crazy 42,000 candela. That’s bright and insanely powerful for less than 200 dollars. The light is easy to charge and uses an 18350 battery. It’s set off with ambi controls and a standard rail mounting system.

Galco Miami Classic 2.0

This won’t be for everyone; however, if you want the best possible shoulder rig on the market, then the Galco Miami Classic 2.0 will fit the bill. Galco makes it for a ton of different firearms, and it’s a great winter option for concealed carry. The Spider harness at the back allows for maximum flexibility and comfort while carrying with an unbeatable level of comfort and modularity. The Miami Classic 2.0 is THE shoulder holster for concealed carry and not for gritty private eyes.

The Show Off

Oh, you want to make a real impression on your loved one? Well, that’s why we have the show-off option for you. These options are not cheap, but they are so cool.

SIG Sauer ROMEO2

One of my favorite options for a handgun red dot is the SIG ROMEO2. The ROMEO2 is the first modular optic that offers you the option to use a standard open emitter optic or to throw on a rear lens and shroud, and now it’s an enclosed emitter. The dot is super crisp, and the lenses are super clear and consistent. SIG kills it with the ROMEO2, and it’s currently my go-to optic for competition shooting.

Vaultek Lifepod XT3i Safe

Have you ever wanted to feel like a secret agent? A masterful assassin? Or something akin to that? That’s the feeling the Vaultek Lifepod XT3i safe gives you every time you open it. The XT3i safe combines something like a pelican case with a digital gun safe to give you a high-tech, easily transportable safe. Inside sits three slots for pistols, a MOLLE storage board, an EDC dump bucket, and a pistol mag module. It’s hyper-organized and oh-so-cool.

Exothermic Pulsefire LRT Flamethrower

If someone gave me this, I would literally melt. Melt lots of stuff, burn stuff, set stuff on fire, and, of course, fight off the xenomorphs. The Exothermic Pulsefire LRT Flamethrower has to be the coolest gift you can legally give someone. It offers you 27 seconds of American freedom that’s refillable on request and perfect for the colder seasons. If the standard isn’t good enough, how about we strap the AR-15 mountable option on your favorite rifle?

Merry Christmas!

Oh boy, it’s a wonderful time of the year. Snow is falling, I’m not sweating, people are cheery, and it’s just great. I love it. I love giving gifts, and admittedly, I love getting them too. Hopefully, we’ve given you a few ideas on what to get your friends and family. If you want to get me something, make it the flamethrower.
