Vortex Introduces the Impact 4000 Rail-Mounted Laser Rangefinder

Vortex is pleased to announce the launch of the Impact 4000 Rail-Mounted Laser Rangefinder, a product that promises to be a valuable piece of equipment for all rifle shooters. This is a rangefinder that can not only be mounted to the accessory rail of the gun but it’s Bluetooth compatible, making it truly hands-free. It’s designed to be waterproof and shockproof as well, so it can stand up to the elements and withstand the expected bumps and scrapes of dedicated use.

According to Vortex, the Impact 4000 takes the guesswork out of distance thanks to rapid ballistic calculations. The company states the rangefinder has everything you need to figure out point-and-shoot solutions without being forced to get off the gun. It’s made to deliver vital range, weather, and ballistic data through the use of an onboard GeoBallistics solver and environmental sensors as well as the company’s patented Wind Bearing Capture Mode. It’s designed to be mounted to a 30mm or 34mm diving board style Picatinny mount.
