The Smith & Wesson M&P line has served and protected for over a hundred years. The line’s polymer-frame striker-fired duty pistols represent among the best on the market. In 2022, Smith & Wesson debuted the M&P Metal with an all-aluminum frame instead of polymer. This year, the Metal Series is now available and tuned from Smith & Wesson’s Performance Center.

The M&P 9 Metal Performance Center is geared toward competition shooting but is a well-rounded choice for many other handgun-related tasks. This full-sized, five-inch barreled pistol comes equipped with a Faxon compensator to dampen muzzle rise. It also has a pair of high-profile iron sights: an adjustable notch rear and a fiber optic front that are easy to spot but high enough to co-witness with a red dot optic. The slide features lightening cuts at the front and rear and is machined for a red dot. The pistol ships with a C.O.R.E. set of plates to mount the optic of your choice.
Internally, the M&P 9 Metal Performance Center has a tuned sear for a lighter, more consistent trigger pull out of the box. Like the original Metal model, it comes with an all-aluminum frame with a set of polymer grip inserts and a Picatinny rail for mounting a weapon light. It also features a black-anodized aluminum flared magwell for quick reloads on the clock. The M&P PC also comes with a reversible and extended magazine release and an ambidextrous slide stop to boot.
The M&P PC is available in an all-matte silver finish or with an OD Green Cerakote. The complete pistol kit comes in at $999 and is shipping right now!
