The load features an Extreme Point bullet with an oversized impact diameter, meaning greater impact trauma and improved energy transfer. Winchester reports this load has a muzzle velocity of 2,400 feet per second and muzzle energy of 2,430 foot-pounds.
The Super Suppressed .400 Legend 300-grain Open Tip Match load is designed for superior performance with a suppressor. This load is made for clean, reliable shooting and better noise reduction. Winchester reports a muzzle velocity of 1,060 feet per second and muzzle energy of 2,416 foot-pounds.
The company’s Power-Point load in .400 Legend is loaded with a 215-grain bullet. It’s created to be a high-performing round for hunters and sport shooters alike.
