New: Weatherby .410 Side by Side Shotgun

When it comes to bird hunting of all kinds, you often find yourself wanting something other than a 12 gauge. Weatherby understands that not only is the .410 Bore a fantastic hunting option but it’s also great for teaching young shooters the ropes of shotguns. Now they’ve come out with a side-by-side model that does it all. The Weatherby Orion SxS in .410 Bore is a beautifully made shotgun designed for quality and versatility, and it’s here just in time for the various bird seasons (as well as in time for the holidays).

This classic-looking shotgun is available now and promises to become a favorite of countless gun owners. And it’s about time, too, because it’s been decades since Weatherby has offered a .410 Bore. This new side-by-side model is a welcome announcement for upland hunters, small game hunters, and small-bore enthusiasts, along with anyone interested in a softer-recoiling shotgun.

The newest offering has a true .410 receiver and is scaled down from the proven 20 gauge version launched just a few months ago. It’s chambered for up to three-inch shells and the barrel is designed to handle today’s modern shotshell loads. Similarly to the 12 and 20-gauge options, this shotgun has a straight English stock, splinter forend, five extended chokes, and double triggers. It also has a swamp rib with a brass bead front sight to ensure a clear sight picture for fast, accurate wing shooting. This shotgun was made with conscientious hunters in mind and features extractors to make sure empty shells end up in your pocket and not on the ground. The Orion SxS in .410 Bore has an empty weight of 6.1 pounds and is a shotgun you can carry all day long.

MSRP for the Weatherby Orion SxS 410 Bore shotgun is set at $1099.00.
