Fortunately, Magtech has launched its own line of steel-cased ammunition that is made closer to home. New for 2023 is Magtech Ammunition’s 9mm steel-cased ammunition.
The new Magtech load is a standard pressure 9mm Luger load featuring a traditional lead-cored 115-grain full metal jacket that is economical and perfect for range use. The projectile also lacks the harder steel jacket bound on other commonly available steel-cased ammo.
The 9mm steel case has an advertised muzzle velocity of 1135 feet per second from a four-inch pistol barrel. The ammunition features soft Magtech small pistol primers and a steel case that is zinc plated for extra lubrication that won’t leave gunk in the chamber like lacquer-lubricated rounds.
