New for 2023: Magtech Steel Case 9mm Ammunition

If you are looking for affordable target shooting ammunition, steel-cased rounds are a great option to consider. However, most steel-cased ammunition on the market are made in Eastern Europe and both the quantity and quality of these rounds leave something to be desired. Fortunately, Magtech has launched its own line of steel-cased ammunition that is made closer to home. New for 2023 is Magtech Ammunition’s 9mm steel-cased ammunition.

“We are excited to introduce Magtech steel case 9mm to the market,” said Troy Duerr, President of Magtech Ammunition. “This new product is manufactured to the same high standards as our brass ammunition with a more economical price point. We are confident that it will be a popular choice for target shooting and range use.”

The new Magtech load is a standard pressure 9mm Luger load featuring a traditional lead-cored 115-grain full metal jacket that is economical and perfect for range use. The projectile also lacks the harder steel jacket bound on other commonly available steel-cased ammo.

The 9mm steel case has an advertised muzzle velocity of 1135 feet per second from a four-inch pistol barrel. The ammunition features soft Magtech small pistol primers and a steel case that is zinc plated for extra lubrication that won’t leave gunk in the chamber like lacquer-lubricated rounds. Consider the Magtech 9mm steel case line for your next training session.
