Magnum Research is best known as the producer of the big-bore .44 Magnum and .50 AE Desert Eagle pistols, but their Baby Eagle is an excellent option if you are looking for a conventional 9mm or .40 S&W-chambered handgun. The Baby Eagle III represents the most well-rounded of the line with ambidextrous controls. The standard Baby Eagle comes with all black, but new for 2023 is the Baby Eagle III Northern Lights with a blue oxide finish.
The Baby Eagle III Northern Lights borrows the ironic profile of the company’s famous Desert Eagle, but in a form that is more efficient for everyday carry. It is a double-action/single-action handgun with an ambidextrous frame-mounted decocker and safety. It has a polymer frame with a Picatinny accessory rail and is chambered in 9mm Luger or .40 Smith & Wesson.

About Magnum Research
Magnum Research was founded in 1979 with the mission of producing the most powerful handguns that could practically be made. Their flagship handgun is the media iconic Desert Eagle. Magnum Research branched out into the revolver market with their BFR or Biggest Finest Revolver. In 2010, Kahr Firearms Group brought Magnum Research under its umbrella. Since then, Magnum Research’s modern facilities have turned out smaller arms for everyday carry, like the MR1911 and the Baby Eagle.
