Laugo Arms has announced two new limited edition Alien pistols: the Black & Gold edition, and the Rose Gold edition. The new versions are the latest options of the pistol that Recoil voted the best of SHOT Show in 2020.
The new versions of the Alien from Laugo Arms are based on the original Alien pistol, featuring a low bore axis and fixed barrel for a low center of gravity, drastically reducing muzzle flip and yielding faster and more accurate follow-up shots. The pistol employs a gas piston delayed-blowback system with user-friendly striker-fire controls. The pistol features a 4.8” barrel and with just one take-down pin, the pistol can be converted from iron sights to a red dot sight via the interchangeable top rail.
Laugo Arms has expanded the Alien pistol line to include two limited editions. The Black & Gold Edition, seen above, features a black finish with striking gold accents. The pistol has an overall length of 8.2 inches, a width of just over 1 inch, and a magazine capacity of 17 rounds of 9mm Luger ammunition. Let’s take a look at the specific new editions.
The Black and Gold Edition of the Alien has a black finish and bold gold accents for a striking look. Available in the Full Kit, it offers the complete package for enthusiasts and competitive shooters. The pistol comes from Laugo Arms with the Laugo Arms red dot sight as well as an Iron Sight Top Rail. The gold-anodized magwells are cut from brass, according to Laugo Arms, and add only 6 ounces to the overall weight while aiding in recoil absorption. The full kit also includes an Elornis Industries holster system. The Black & Gold Edition Alien pistol has an MSRP of $6,350.
The second new pistol is the Rose Gold Edition pistol. Available in limited quantities, the pistol has a warm grey finish and rose gold touches. This model is also available in the Full Kit with different top rails and a holster. The Rose Gold model features a stainless steel magwell which adds only 2.5 ounces to the overall weight and adds to recoil absorption. This version is also only available in the Full Kit with an Iron Sight Top Rail and an Optic Top Rail with a Laugo Arms red dot sight. The Rose Gold Edition comes with an Elornis Industries holster and has an MSRP of $6,150.
