Liemke Releases New Thermal Moncular

German-based optics company Liemke announced that it has extended its popular line of high-definition thermal imaging solutions for hunting and nature observation with the release of the new Keiler 25.1 Thermal. The thermal monocular offers 384 x 288-pixel resolution, a 12µm VOx sensor, and a 25 mm objective lens; while its advanced image processing software offers two quick-change modes to provide natural-looking, detailed images in rain or shine.

The monocular’s heat signature detection capability is out to 1,250 meters for use for hunting in forests or fields, while it also features five color modes, as well as 2.4x optical magnification and digital zoom up to 10x.

The Keiler 25.1 was also designed to be as easy and intuitive to operate, featuring a central scroll wheel that controls the menu, zoom, and other functions. In addition, the menu utilizes a standard, custom, and basic mode along with a quick-access menu that can be customized for frequently used functions. This design could make it easy to locate all important buttons intuitively, even in complete darkness. It has an internal memory capacity of 32 GB, making it simple to capture photos and videos during a hunt or observation, and a battery life of up to 10 hours.

“Liemke thermal optics have been a hit with hunters here in the U.S. and those who want to observe their surroundings and nature at night,” said Jason Evans, CEO of the Blaser Group, the official U.S. importer for the German firearms brands Blaser, Mauser and J.P. Sauer; English gunmaker John Rigby & Co.; Minox optics and Liemke Thermal Optics.
