Langdon Tactical Technology (LTT) has taken a jaunt from custom gunsmithing to release its latest custom firearm option based on the HK USP pistol. New for 2024, the company is offering a custom .45 and a 9mm option for the USP.
These custom pistols are loaded with options from LTT. Each caliber option offers specific package details helping to set these pistols apart in a sea of custom pistols in the market. Both pistols include an LTT Red Dot Optic mounting solution with a slide cut and installation of an adapter plate, complete with back-up iron sights with matching serrated front sight. The included red dot optic and the iron sights have a lower 1/3 co-witness compatibility.
The 9mm USP compact pistol has a 3.58-inch barrel and an overall length of 6.81 inches, while the .45 pistol has a barrel length of 4.41 inches and an overall length of 7.91 inches. The USP 45 pistol ships from LTT with two 12-round capacity magazines and the USP 9C ships with two 13-round magazines. Both can be purchased with a 10-round capacity restricted magazine option for those who live in restrictive states.
Both pistols have further customization options for the trigger, either a standard HK USP polymer trigger or a Gray Guns flat trigger. The Gray Guns flat trigger replaces the standard curved trigger with one that is all-steel for a better trigger break and over-travel. Both pistols come with LTT’s trigger job, upgrading the components of the system itself and not just the trigger to include approximate pull weights with the Gray Guns Short Reset System and LTT Trigger System components. The USP 9C with a trigger job offers an 11lb chrome silicon hammer spring with dual action pull at ~9.25 lbs and single action at 4.25 lbs. The USP 45 with the trigger job offers a 12# chrome silicon hammer spring with a double-action pull of ~9.25 lbs and a single-action pull of 4.25 lbs.
The HK USP Series of pistols from LTT are out now and have an MSPR starting at $1,700.
