The pistol is available in many different configurations, to help meet the needs of many customers. To start, the pistol has three barrel lengths: a 5” barrel for the Standard Model, a 4.4” barrel for the Compact model, and a 3.4” barrel for the Sub Compact model. Each model comes from EAA/Girsan with polymer grips with extended beaver tails, updated modern sights, and ambidextrous safeties.

Each model is made from forged frames with bar stock slides and barrels, and no castings. The pistols are available in either 9mm or 45 ACP in each of the barrel lengths, in addition to different finish options. Consumers can choose between all-black, two-toned, Camo Black, and Camo OD Green color schemes.

EAA/Girsan will be displaying the new Girsan 1911 Untouchable at the company’s booth at NASGW later this month. The new Untouchable pistol is said to set a new standard in the US 1911 market. The company states it’s earning consumers’ respect, one gun at a time. The 1911 Untouchable shows its dedication to that statement.

Out of the box, the Untouchable series is said to be the best value in the USA 1911 platform today. Pricing for the All Black models starts at $396, pricing changes depending on the caliber and options selected. The two-toned Untouchable starts at $419, while the Camo Black and OD Green models start at $434. Individual model pricing should be released around the time the pistol is available for purchase, which should be around the NASGW Show later this month.

Patti Miller is one of the most awesome females in the tactical/firearm (or any) industry. Imagine a tall, hawt, dangerous Laura Ingalls Wilder type with cool hair and a suppressed blaster and you'll be getting the idea. What's interesting is that in addition to being a willing brawler and intrepid adventuress, she's also an Ent/Ogier level gardener and a truly badass baker.
