It’s important to have a rugged and reliable rifle, but it’s even better if the gun in question is portable. The team at Zenith Firearms understands that, and that’s why they’ve launched the Zenith ZF-56 Roller-Delayed Blowback 5.56 Rifle. This rifle is designed for serious use and is versatile enough to work well as a truck gun, for home defense, or while out hunting coyotes and feral hogs. And thanks to its folding stock, it’s far simpler to transport than many guns.
Zenith Firearms is known for its quality roller-delayed firearms and is pleased to announce the release of the all-new ZF-56 Roller-Delayed Blowback 5.56 Rifle. Chambered for the all-too-common 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge, this gun features a unique interface that will remain familiar to fans of HK rifles. It has a folding charging handle and folding stock. Zenith Firearms states the rifle will be offered in multiple barrel lengths, including 12-inch, 14.5-inch, and 16-inch variants. The barrel length will, of course, influence whether a tax stamp is needed to purchase the gun.
Features of the rifle include:
- Chambered in 5.56 NATO, but will later expand to other calibers, such as 300 Blackout and 10mm
- Cold hammer-forged, fluted barrel with 1:7 twist
- M-Lok compatible handguard for the addition of aftermarket accessories
- Picatinny rail for mounting optics
- Overall empty weight of 7.3 pounds
- Ambidextrous safety
- Folding stock for greater portability
- Trigger, grip, and magazine are AR platform compatible
- Proprietary lower receiver
