Tanfoglio Defiant Gold Match OR Pistol: New for 2024

After a long lull, the 10mm Auto cartridge is back with force. In recent years, there has been an ever-growing number of ammo and firearm makers offering something for the 10mm. The resurgence came on the backs of handgun hunters who long valued magnum power out of an autoloading pistol platform. For those who prefer the 10mm, be sure to check out the new Tanfoglio Defiant Gold Match OR for your hunting needs.

The Defiant Gold Match OR is one of several CZ-75 clones produced by Tanfoglio in several chamberings and setups. The Gold Match series originated from a series of hunting pistols and has since become more competition-shooting oriented. The Defiant Gold Match OR adapts the handy features of a competition pistol and pairs it with the powerful 10mm round.

The Gold Match OR is an all-steel single-action handgun with a thirteen-round capacity. Its CNC machined frame and lightning-cut slide are finished in black cerakote and complement red aluminum grip panels.

As the OR designation implies, this pistol comes optics-ready and includes a Shield RMS/SRS and Trijicon RMR optic footprints.

The Defiant Gold Match OR comes with a hard-chrome six-inch barrel with a 1:16 twist to make the most out of the 10mm round, particularly with heavier bullet weights. This new 10mm hunting option is now available with an MSRP of $2,205.
