Sig Sauer has announced the release of two new accessories for the popular ROSE pistol product line, the ROSE ROMEO-X red dot sight and the ROSE FOXTROT-EDC flashlight. The two new items are set to hit the market today, just in time for Valentine’s Day 2024.
“The optic and flashlight are exciting accessory additions to the ROSE family because they introduce new skills and encourage growth for our community to continue their journey,” began Lena Miculek, Team SIG professional shooter. “The ROSE ROMEO-X red dot is the easiest upgrade to improve all aspects of shooting and takes minutes to install.”
The ROSE ROMEO-X red dot sight is constructed of 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum, like other ROMEO sights from the Sig Sauer Electro-Optics family, and features anti-reflection grooves machined into the facing surfaces for the shooter. Additionally, the ROSE ROMEO-X has distortion-free aspheric glass with the patent-pending Beryllium Copper flexure-arm adjustment system.
The ROSE ROMEO-X red dot uses a high-efficiency point source red LED emitter with a 2 MOA dot / 32 MOA circle reticle and independent side brightness adjustment buttons with 15 different brightness and night vision settings. Height-wise, the ROSE ROMEO-X has a low deck height for co-witnessing with standard-height iron sights and is just 1.23 inches tall. The red dot sight is powered by one CR1632 battery in its side-mounted compartment for easy battery swaps without having to remove it and has a battery life of 20,000 hours.
It is designed to work on micro-compact pistols with a P365 and Shield RMSc footprint, like the ROSE SIG 9mm and 380 pistols, and features motion-activated illumination (MOTAC), magnetic activation (MAGNETAC), and dark adaptive reticles and coatings (DARC). In fitting with the ROSE product line, the ROSE ROMEO-X red dot is fitted with a rose gold button cover, fiber optics, and engraving. The ROSE ROMEO-X red dot sight has an MSRP of $559.99
The other new product, the ROSE FOXTROT-EDC flashlight, is also from Sig Sauer Electro-Optics group and features the ROSE touches like the rose gold anodized tailcap, bezel right, and laser engraved flashlight body. The flashlight was designed to fit comfortably in pockets, pouches, purses, or packs thanks to the deep carry pocket clip and is constructed from aluminum for a lightweight package.
“The ROSE FOXTROT-EDC is awesome for anyone getting into EDC because it’s so bright and the extra rechargeable battery makes it so you are never left in the dark,” continued Miculek.
The flashlight features 1,350 Lumens and 33,000 Candela lighting and is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, with up to one hour of runtime. The FOXTROT-EDC comes from Sig with two of those rechargeable batteries for fast swap-outs when necessary, and a USB-C charging cable to keep them ready to go.
The ROSE FOXTROT-EDC flashlight has a momentary or latching push button activation and has a waterproof rating of IPX-7. The Sig Sauer ROSE FOXTROT-EDC flashlight has an MSRP of $169.99.
