HuxWrx Safety Company has released its latest suppressor, the multi-caliber compatible VENTUM 762. The new 7.62 caliber suppressor features the company’s Flow-Through technology and takes it to a new level. This technology cycles and redirects gases in a specific pattern away from the bore line and away from the shooter, making for a more pleasant shooting experience.
HuxWrx VENTUM 762 Features
The VENTUM 762 suppressor from HuxWrx features a Grade 5 titanium 3D-printed core that is removable, so the end user is able to service it. The suppressor tube is constructed from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel that has a black Nitride QPQ finish. The Flow-Through technology directs the gases away from the center in a helical pattern pushing forward, and ultimately out the front meaning the shooter experiences less gas blowback in their eyes and face. The system also improves sound performance and provides excellent repeatability.
The VENTUM is full-auto rated and is technically considered a multi-caliber suppressor. It has a detachable GeoFlash cap and is compatible with the universal HUB and Stiction mounting systems out of the box lending to its versatility. In addition to those mounting options, the suppressor is also compatible with the Dead Air Xeno, Dead Air Keymo, and Silencerco ASR Bravo mounts.
Shipping with a 5/8×24 direct thread adapter, the suppressor’s Flow-Through design doesn’t require any major modifications to a gas system or platform for the suppressor to be installed or function. According to HuxWrx, the suppressor is ideal for just about any platform whether it’s bolt, lever action, centerfire, submachine gun, bullpup, or AK.
The multi-caliber HuxWrx VENTUM 762 suppressor weighs just 14.5 ounces and can be used on 5.56, .308, 30-06, 6.5, 6mm, 7mm, 300WM, 300PRC, and 7.62 caliber platforms. The titanium and stainless steel suppressor is 6.7 inches long and 1.8 inches in diameter. The HuxWrx VENTUM 762 suppressor is shipping to dealers now and has an MSRP of $996.
