Henry Anniversary Rifles: Gold Goes Silver

In honor of the silver anniversary of Guns for Great Causes, Henry Repeating Arms is manufacturing Golden Boy Silver Anniversary rifles. Silver is, of course, the color for 25th anniversaries, and the charitable organization the company is dedicated to running has more than earned its own rifle. The Golden Boy Silver Anniversary rifle is built on the classic Golden Boy platform, only with aesthetics more suited to the milestone being celebrated.

Henry Repeating Arms provides details of the story behind the gun:

To celebrate 25 years of Guns For Great Causes, Henry Repeating Arms is proud to present the Golden Boy “Silver Anniversary” Edition. This rifle is all about giving back to the foundations and organizations that Henry proudly supports, and 100% of the proceeds are being donated for a total of $1,000,000.

All too often, the gun industry gets a black eye from the media, so Guns For Great Causes was started as a charitable branch of Henry Repeating Arms to show just how much good can be accomplished by a gunmaker and law-abiding gun owners. The proceeds from the Golden Boy “Silver Anniversary” Edition will benefit several different groups to include children’s hospitals, military veterans, first responders, Second Amendment advocacy, shooting sports and hunting heritage, and wildlife conservation.

Built on the award-winning Golden Boy platform and aptly adorned, these 1-of-1,000 rifles feature a nickel-plated receiver cover, barrel band, buttplate, and inlaid medallion. To complement the blued steel octagon barrel and hardware, the hardwood stocks are stained black and finished with a durable coating not unlike our All-Weather models. Every rifle includes the words “Silver Anniversary 1-of-1,000” engraved and silver filled on the upper tang and a unique serial number range.

This is a lever-action rifle chambered in 22 LR. It’s an awesome platform for plinking and also great for teaching new shooters. Every gun owner should have at least one lever and one 22 LR rifle in their collection, and this gun fulfills both. It’s well made to the company’s known high standards and promises to perform well. Although it’s a great addition for collectors of levers and Henry rifles in general, it’s meant to be used, too.
