Galco’s Updated Concealable 2.0 Holster for Springfield Prodigy

Galco Holsters has expanded its offerings of the Concealable 2.0 leather holsters. Options now include a model for Springfield Armory Prodigy 4¼” and 5” pistols. According to Galco, the Concealable 2.0 holster is a thoroughly modern version of the strongside belt holster,  accommodating either Springfield Armory Prodigy 9mm pistol with or without a red dot optic installed.

The updated 2.0 version brings 40 years of history with the original to a new generation of guns.

Features

The new design is cut low in the front of the holster to accommodate many of the carry-style red dot optics. The holster features the premium steerhide construction with a raised sweat guard to help protect the wearer’s body from the pistol and vice versa.

The Springfield Armory Prodigy is a 9mm pistol with a double stack capacity. The Concealable 2.0 holster provides solid coverage, with full slide and barrel coverage, while keeping space for an optic. The slight butt-forward cant allows for an easy draw from behind the hip but keeps the pistol concealed. The holster has a two-piece construction and the design contours naturally to the hip with the molding on the front.

Each Galco Concealable 2.0 holster is hand-molded to fit specific handguns. The deeply hand-molded exterior has superior retention properties that don’t take away from the overall look of the holster. Seams are double-stitched for long-lasting durability. The overall design of the holster allows for a more comfortable carry and a smaller profile than traditional pancake holsters. 

According to Galco Holsters, the Concealable 2.0 also has sight channels that accommodate most suppressor height sights. The steerhide holster is available in either black or tan and fits belts up to 1½” wide belts. The updated Galco Concealable 2.0 holster for the Springfield Prodigy pistol is available for $170.
