CCI Ammunition: Four New Products at SHOT Show 2024

Lewiston, Idaho-based CCI Ammunition will be introducing four new products at this year’s SHOT Show, including the Uppercut Defense 22 LR, HEVI-Bismuth Pest Control Shotshell, 10mm Pest Control Shotshell, and Blazer Brass low-recoil 9mm handgun ammunition.

The Uppercut Defense .22 LR features a 32-grain jacketed hollow point bullet — unique for a rimfire round. It features nose skiving to initiate full and reliable expansion through 2.5 to 4-inch semi-auto pistols. Meanwhile, the bullet retains the weight needed to hit critical self-defense penetration depths.

CCI is also rolling out the new HEVI-Bismuth pest control centerfire handgun shotshells. The lead-free shells utilize a Catalyst lead-free primer and HEVI-Bismuth pellets. At 9.6 g/cc, the shot provides nearly the same density and downrange energy of lead but adheres to all non-toxic ammunition requirements. HEVI-Bismuth handgun shotshells will be available in 9mm Luger, .38/.357 Mag., .40 S&W, .44 Spl/Rem Mag., .45 Auto, and .45 Colt.

In addition, CCI’s 10mm Auto 105-grain No. 9 pest control centerfire handgun shotshells promise to produce consistent patterns. This ammo will make it easier to knock down such nasty critters as snakes and other pests in tight quarters. The reusable boxes hold 10 shotshells.

Finally, CCI announced its new 9mm Luger Blazer Brass handgun ammunition will feature reloadable brass cases, quality primers, and clean-burning propellants. The new lower-recoil 100-grain load joins their line of 115, 124, and 147-grain 9mm luger cartridges. This lighter bullet offers consistent, reliable, accurate performance for target shooting.

CCI Ammunition will be displaying these new offerings at the 2024 SHOT Show at Booth No. 11838. Pricing and availability will be released later.
