This handguard is designed to replace standard plastic M16-type rifle-length handguards and features reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction with an integral riveted aluminum heat shield for superior strength and protection from the heat coming off your rifle barrel. Boasting a functional design, this carbine-length handguard features a front lip and side extension for additional protection from hot parts and a relieved area at the top rear that accommodates most overhanding optic mounts. Made in USA.
