What is a “PRS” Rifle?
PRS is the abbreviation for the world-renowned Precision Rifle Series championship shooting series and is synonymous with the more widely used “Precision Rifle Shooting” name. Derivative of military, law enforcement, and hunting long-range scenarios, PRS shooting applications intentionally test the shooter's patience, discipline, and mental and physical control, forcing shooters to overcome extreme distances and weather conditions. While the sport has been around for decades, it has recently seen explosive growth among former snipers, retired law enforcement, and youth shooters.
