About the Kimber Micro 9
Modeled after the 1911, the Kimber® Micro 9 is a single-stack pocket-carry pistol, chambered in 9mm (9x19mm). Trusted by CCW permit holders and civilian target shooters alike, the Micro 9 comes equipped with a stainless steel slide and match-grade steel barrel, mounted to a lightweight aluminum frame with interchangeable grip panels for a custom fit and finish and comfortable, convenient carry. The full-length steel guide rod delivers improved accuracy and speedy follow-up shots, while the solid aluminum SA/DA trigger provides a short take-up and crisp break. The slide-mounted thumb safety and built-in de-cocker for improved safety and reliability, while the 3.15” barrel and an elongated rear tang deliver consistent field service and a snug, bite-free grip for enhanced for comfortable carry and improved control in high-stress environments. To top it off, the Micro 9 includes one 6+1 and one 7+1 single-stack magazine for superior firepower and maximum concealment.

What is a "SA/DA" Trigger System?
SA/DA is the standard abbreviation for a single-action/double-action trigger system.

Single-action/Double-action pistols are fired by either pulling the hammer back with their thumb or racking the slide before pulling the trigger (single-action), or by simply pulling the trigger and forcing the hammer to pull itself back prior to striking the firing pin (double-action). With single-action/double-action pistols, the first trigger pull will be a double-action pull and much heavier. As the slide travels rearward, it will automatically cock the hammer, allowing you to fire with a light and crisp single-action pull with every shot thereafter, making the single-action/double-action system one of the most reliable and safest hammer-fired pistol designs in the world.
