Precision-machined from a single piece of billet aluminum, these lightweight mags boast a flush-fit design to eliminate snag risks while traversing rough hunting terrain. These magazines are only compatible with Remington 700 and 700 clones with pre-installed Hawkins Precision BDM bottom metal groupings.

What is the Hawkins Precision BDM Bottom Metal?

The Hawkins Precision® BDM bottom metal is specifically designed for shooters who desire a flush-mounted bottom metal group that will accept AICS pattern box magazines for their rifle hunting rifle. This bottom metal allows shooters to run SAUM, WSM, and 6.5 PRC calibers with longer bullets and added cartridge overall length (COAL) for more versatility with their rifle setup. Machined from a single piece of billet 6061 aluminum with a corrosion-resistant anodized finish, this bottom metal withstands heavy and repeated recoil. Further, the magazine release is adjustable, sleek, and almost impossible to activate accidentally. The Hunter Long-Action bottom metal is compatible with Remington 700 and 70 clone receivers only.

Standard long-action variants are compatible with .280 Ackley Improved and .30-06 Springfield.

Magnum long-action variants are compatible with .300 PRC and .28 Nosler. 

Other variants are compatible with .338 Lapua and .300 Norma.
