The Beretta® Neos is a performance-enhanced semi-auto rimfire pistol, built around a simple blowback design and single-action trigger system for unwavering reliability and superior accuracy in any target-rich environment. Originally designed with the entry-level pistol shooter in mind, the Neos is also ideal for informal plinking and competitive target shooting applications. The modular design makes it easy to modify with a variety of options and accessories, while the integral Weaver-style rail incorporates a fully adjustable rear sight and a removable front sight for intuitive target acquisition while on the move. The fiberglass-reinforced grip and trigger offer improved comfort and control, and an ambidextrous manual safety lever offers safe handling in any environment. Plus, the Neos also comes equipped with a cocked firing pin indicator at the rear of the pistol for enhanced safety and reliable handling with virtually any shooter. 

What is an SAO Trigger System?
The SAO or “Single-Action-Only” trigger system requires the hammer to be cocked (manually or mechanically) before firing, and offers a light, crisp pull, ensuring accurate shot placement and improved handling. SAO pistols offer an improved, lightweight trigger pull compared with double-action-only (DAO) and double-action/single-action triggers.
