The Fortis Manufacturing® Switch™ MOD 2 M-LOK® 17" Handguard features M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock as well as an off-set M-LOK location for plenty of space to mount weapon-mounted accessories while the partial Picatinny top rail provides space for optics and flip-up sights. This lightweight, free float handguard is constructed with aircraft 6061-T6 aluminum and a corrosion-resistant hard-coat anodized finish for unmatched strength. The MOD 2 features a patent-pending 7075-T6 aluminum locking handle that allows for quick and easy installation. Designed for DPMS high-profile .308 platforms. 4140 heat-treated barrel nut included. Spanner wrench needed to torque barrel nut to spec (not included). Made in USA.
