XS Sights Launches Vent Rib Standard Dot Shotgun Bead

XS Sights is your source of high-visibility combat iron sights for handguns, but they also make a number of sight options for your shotgun. If you are a waterfowler or turkey hunter, consider the new XS Universal Vent Rib Standard Dot.

The gold bead is the standard for shotties. It’s fine and won’t cover up small targets on the fly. But if you are cloaked in shadow or needing to take a shot at dawn or dusk, the bead is easy to lose. XS Sights remedies this problem with their new Vent Rib Standard Dot.

This new offering is available with either a green or orange Ember Glow Dot that is brighter than a gold bead or a fiber optic sight in both daylight and dusk.

“Waterfowl and turkey hunters have been asking us for a shotgun bead that is smaller in diameter than our Big Dot but with the same highly effective Glow Dot technology,” said Addison Monroe, XS Sights’ digital marketing manager. “The short, low-profile design is durable and won’t break if hit or become discolored by cleaning agents.”

The Vent Rib Standard Dot replacement comes with a kit that includes three threaded posts that thread where your bead front sight goes. With the post installed, the replacement dot taps in place with the use of a mallet. The threaded posts that come with the kit can be had in the following pitches: 5-40, 3-56, 6-48, M3x.5, and M2.5x.45.

The new Vent Rib Standard Dot kit has an MSRP of $54.99 and will fit Benelli, Beretta, Browning, CZ, Mossberg, Remington, and Stoeger shotguns with a vent rib.
