Volquartsen Firearms is adding more options to their popular straight-pull toggle bolt action rifle lineup with the Summit .22 WMR and Summit .17 HMR. Both new rifles are being offered with stainless steel and lightweight aluminum with a variety of barrel and stock configurations possible. Features of the Summit include a 2.25 lb. trigger pull, 1/2×28 threaded barrel, and 0 MOA integral Picatinny rail for the addition of optics. A non-threaded barrel is also available if the shooter prefers it. Both rifles have a 9-round capacity.

Volquartsen President Scott Volquartsen said,

When we started manufacturing the Summit in .22 LR, we knew that caliber was only the beginning of what was possible from the straight-pull toggle bolt design. We applied what we learned in refining the Summit .22 LR and knew it would be ideal for a .22 WMR and .17 HMR version.

The Summit rifles are versatile and reliable. Whether you’re interested in plinking, hunting pests and varmints, or upping your precision game at the range, these rifles are well worth a closer look. They’re assembled with the company’s signature, wire-EDM cut internal components, and are built to perform. Features include a Rapid Release magazine release, a CNC machined receiver, and one magazine. Stock options include thumbhole, standard Hogue, and laminated lightweight thumbhole.

MSRP for the Volquartsen Summit rifle depends on the caliber and features chosen.
