The Springfield Armory Hellcat is a standard of measure among micro-compact 9mm handguns that has since evolved into a family of modular pistols. The Hellcat Pro is the next size up from the original Hellcat with a taller grip that holds 15 rounds retained in the same slim optics-ready design. New for 2024 is the Hellcat Pro Comp OSP.

The Hellcat Pro Comp OSP is the same duty-capacity micro-compact as the Hellcat Pro but now features a 3.7-inch ported barrel and slide for enhanced recoil control and reduced muzzle rise. It features the same Springfield Micro footprint that is adaptable to most types of red dot optics and retains the U-notch tritium night sights shared among the rest of the Hellcat family.
“The Hellcat Pro was designed to deliver full-size performance in a concealable, EDC-ready package with unmatched ergonomics,” said Springfield’s VP of Marketing Steve Kramer. “Now, with the Hellcat Pro Comp, shooters have a new option that combines advanced performance with ease of concealability.”
The Springfield Hellcat OSP retains the same sleek 1-inch slide and grip width but accommodates higher-capacity magazines. It features a section of Picatinny rail for mounting a weapons light, allowing it to serve double duty for home defense and concealed carry applications. The OSP is a striker-fired pistol with a trigger safety and internal striker drop safety, but it is also available with an optional manual thumb safety.
The Hellcat Pro Comp OSP ships in a soft-sided case along with two Springfield magazines, an extended 17-round magazine, and a flush-fitting 15-round magazine. This new offering from Springfield Armory has an MSRP of $699.
