Pulsar Expands Axion Thermal Monocular Line-up With XQ30 Pro

Advanced thermal imaging provider Pulsar first introduced its Axion line in 2019, and the company rolled out the newest model at the recent IWA OutdoorClassics 2r024 hunting and target shooting exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany.

The Axion XQ30 Pro thermal monocular was designed for first-time users and seasoned outdoor enthusiasts alike, offering a robust set of features in an ultra-compact body for the next great outdoor adventure. It measures just 5.6×1.6 inches, making it the smallest thermal monocular in Pulsar’s lineup, while it boasts a professional grade European-made 384×288 thermal imaging sensor with NETD <25 mK (milli-Kelvin) that promises to deliver unmatched sensitivity and detailed thermal images. The XQ30 Pro’s waterproof housing ensured reliable performance in all weather conditions.

Key features of the pocket-sized thermal monocular include a digital zoom and picture-in-picture mode that allows users to focus on critical details with ease, while its eight color palettes can adapt to various environments and conditions with customizable display options. The XQ30 Pro is also outfitted with an onboard multimedia suite that enables users to capture photos and videos, all of which are viewable on the power-efficient AMOLED screen. The thermal monocular further features WiFi connectivity that enables connectivity to smartphones and tablets via the Stream Vision 2 app for iOS and Android. This provides for real-time sharing of content and enables a mobile device to act as a remote control.

Its quick-change internal APS3 rechargeable battery provides seven hours of continuous operation on a single charge.
