Nightstick’s New TCM-365 & TCM-5B Weapon-Mounted Lights

Nightstick, the manufacturer of portable LED lighting solutions, has expanded its lineup of weapon-mounted lights with the TCM-365 and TCM-5B lights. The TCM-365 is geared for owners of the Sig Sauer P365 pistol family while the TCM-5B light fits a myriad of narrow rail everyday carry handguns like the Glock G43X, Springfield Armory Hellcat, and the Sig Sauer P365 X-Macro pistols.

“Nationwide we’ve continued to see data indicating consumers are moving towards more compact EDC pistols from major brands, especially narrow frame models with increased round capacity that rival standard width compact pistol models from a decade ago. That strategic decision to reduce weight and bulk for a daily-carry pistol shouldn’t penalize buyers who still prioritize a weapon light as part of their carry setup with limited options,” says Brian Whalen, Public Safety Marketing Manager for Nightstick. “These handgun owners and concealed carry practitioners will now benefit from the powerful 650-lumen beam and intuitive rear-facing switches from our TCM-365 and 5B for threat identification and confirmation, when life depends on light.”

The new models both feature ultra-performance LEDs from Nightstick and an optimized TIR lens. Both units deliver a bright and what the company calls penetrating, 650-lumen beam of light for up to two hours running on one CR123 lithium battery. The beam of light from the models reaches up to 136 meters away, which isn’t too shabby from the just-over two-ounce weapon lights.

The TCM-365 and TCM-5B weapon lights are made from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and are rated as IP-X7 waterproof. According to Nightstick, each light has robust illumination at moments when low-light threat identification and target discrimination are imperative. Both models feature intuitive dual rear-facing switches, along with a programmable On/Off strobe mode, and a battery lockout “Safe Mode” to prevent accidental triggering while being transported or in storage.

The TCM-365 has a unique rail clamp that is engineered specifically to lock onto the proprietary slots on the P365, X, XL, SAS, 380, and Specter Comp frames, while the TCM-5B comes with two additional handgun-specific rail inserts for installation. But both models have a spring-loaded rail clamp and coin-cut screw head allowing for toolless installation on the chosen pistol.

The Nightstick TCM-365 and TCM-5B weapon-mounted lights are covered by the company’s limited lifetime warranty and market-comparable price tag. The TCM-365 has an MSRP of $209.95 as does the TCM-5B model, but a quick internet search shows that they could be found slightly cheaper depending on the merchant.

Patti Miller is one of the most awesome females in the tactical/firearm (or any) industry. Imagine a tall, hawt, dangerous Laura Ingalls Wilder type with cool hair and a suppressed blaster and you'll be getting the idea. What's interesting is that in addition to being a willing brawler and intrepid adventuress, she's also an Ent/Ogier level gardener and a truly badass baker.
