Caracal USA Debuts American-Made Enhanced F Pistol

Smaller and full-size are concepts that usually would seem to be mutually exclusive, but Caracal USA has proven that doesn’t always have to be the case. It recently announced the arrival of the Enhanced F pistol: a smaller, faster, full-size pistol that is 100% made in America.

The 9mm polymer, striker-fired pistol was designed to provide users with a snag-free carry in a low-profile design with superior ergonomics. It is further offered with the optional proprietary Quick-Sight System, which places both the front and rear sights on a single focal plane, the Enhanced F achieves target acquisition incredibly fast, even on second shots.

The Enhanced F’s all-metal parts feature a QPQ nitride finish with an enclosed post-oxidizing surface treatment for increased durability and protection against wear and corrosion. The pistol’s barrels are also SAAMI proof-tested for +P ammo; while the trigger shoe, trigger safety, and trigger bar are combined into a one-piece, multi-function unit (MFU) which was further designed to create an extremely intuitive pistol for shooters of all skill levels.

“Our pre-production validation program is extensive, far more so than most commercial handgun testing programs,” explained Jeffrey Spalding, president and CEO of Caracal USA.

“Each test pistol undergoes 16,000 rounds of endurance; that is 4,000 to 6,000 rounds a day,” Spalding added. “We use various types of ammo and accuracy tests every two thousand rounds through the cycle. Part of the Caracal process also includes sand, water, mud submersion, solid projectile bore obstruction, and drop testing. The Enhanced F pistol passed with flying colors and is now available to the public.”
