American Tactical’s Black Creek Labs bolt-action rifles are made to do it all, with style. The Black Creek Labs MRX Bronco and TRX Bronco Hunter are purpose-driven rifles meant for reliable, accurate performance.

American Tactical announced the availability of the two latest bolt action rifles from Black Creek Labs: the MRX Bronco and the TRX Bronco Hunter. The TRX Bronco Hunter is designed for backcountry use and hunting while the MRX Bronco is made for range days and shooting varmints.  The two bolt-actions are part of Black Creek’s family of Bronco rifles and are designed for reliability, accuracy, and ease of use.

TRX Bronco Hunter

The TRX Bronco Hunter is described by the manufacturer as an innovative rifle. Since it’s made for backcountry hunting, it’s durable, portable, and accurate. The rifle features a two-piece Bronco-adaptable chassis system and has a 10-inch fore-end made from aircraft-grade aluminum. In addition, the TRX Bronco Hunter has a folding stock that’s made to capture the bolt handle when folded. This makes the rifle far more compact and simple to tote along in a pack or by other means.

This rifle is compatible with from AR-10 magazines, meaning its capable of greater capacity than many bolts. According to American Tactical the FSS stock can also lock the safety in “safe” position so the gun can’t be fired when the stock is folded.

The manufacturer guarantees it will shoot 1 MOA when using the suggested factory ammunition. It’s fitted with a TriggerTech REM700 field trigger, so it has a clean, crisp break and brief re-set.

MRX Bronco

As for the MRX Bronco, it’s a versatile, compact rifle perfect for range use or hunting small game. It has a 16.5-inch, medium-weight barrel and an M-LOK compatible handguard, the latter of which means it’s easy to add accessories.
