ZEV and WRMFZY Announce OZ9 Pistol Collaboration

ZEV Technologies and WRMFZY have announced a partnership with a collaborative effort to develop a new OZ9 pistol. The new ZEV x WRMFZY 9mm pistol delivers a one-of-a-kind pistol with ZEV’s precision and WRMFZY styling.

The ZEV x WRMFZY pistol is built off an OZ9 V2 aluminum grip module, which combines the interchangeable grip and receiver. The grip module is machined from one piece of 7075-T6 aluminum and features aggressive knurling on the front and back strap with a honeycomb texture on the side panels. The frame also features an optimized ergonomic geometry with a textured and angled forward thumb rest.

The pistol has custom features unique to the WRMFZY collab. Features like a custom OZ9 V2 Hyper Comp slide and custom FDE-coated Hyper Comp barrel to go inside. The complete pistol includes WRMFZY’s custom FDE-coated trigger safety with a custom laser-etched “OZDOOM” V2 OZ9 frame. The grip module is compatible with Compact/V2 OZ9 frame, all OZ9 magwells, and holsters. The grip module and frame come with the factory-installed Tungsten weight kit and feature the WRMFZY custom FDE coating.

The ZEV x WRMFZY pistol ships as a complete set with a custom hard case with laser-cut foam for a secure fit. The pistol is optics-ready out of the box, and space in the hard case allows for it. Also in the hard case are two 17-round magazines with a factory-installed ZEV +5 polymer base pad, one in FDE and one in Black. The ZEV x WRMFZY OZ9 9mm pistol weighs 30.4 ounces, not counting the magazine or optic).

ZEV has stated that there is a limit of one pistol per person, but there is no word on set pricing as of yet. Be sure to act fast if you’re interested.

Patti Miller is one of the most awesome females in the tactical/firearm (or any) industry. Imagine a tall, hawt, dangerous Laura Ingalls Wilder type with cool hair and a suppressed blaster and you'll be getting the idea. What's interesting is that in addition to being a willing brawler and intrepid adventuress, she's also an Ent/Ogier level gardener and a truly badass baker.
