It’s a must to have the right carry gun, and that means it’s imperative to do your homework and find a well-made, reliable pistol for daily use. The good news is that Taurus understands that demand and the newly released Taurus GX4 Carry promises to exceed your carry demands. Better yet, it’s available now.
Taurus is pleased to announce the arrival of the newest addition to their GX4 family of handguns, the GX4 Carry. This is a gun made with the concealed carrier in mind and it boasts numerous features to recommend it for that use. The GX4 Carry is chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum with a 10, 15, or 17-round capacity. It’s also being offered as part of the company’s T.O.R.O. line of optics-ready handguns. This is a striker-fired, compact frame handgun made with an eye for self-defenders that’s also well-suited to other applications.
Features of the Taurus GX4 Carry include:
- Drift adjustable rear sight
- Visual loaded chamber indicator for an added layer of safety
- DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coated barrel for smooth cycling and superior resistance to wear
- Signature indexing and recoil management pad for comfort and accuracy
- Flat face, serrated trigger for improved trigger control
- Easy to use takedown pin for straightforward disassembly
- Teflon-coated operational parts for better overall performance
- Reversible magazine release for right or left-handed shooters
- Magazine and grip cuts for rapid magazine changes and easier removal of stuck mags
- Comes with two backstraps for a custom fit to the shooter’s hands
- Aggressively textured grip for a better hold during live fire, even with wet hands
The pistol has a 3.7-inch barrel, 1.07-inch width, and an overall length of 6.40 inches. It has an empty weight of 21.51 ounces. Weight is kept down thanks to the polymer frame while the alloy steel slide helps mitigate felt recoil and muzzle rise. This is a pistol made to be used.
MSRP for the Taurus GX4 Carry starts at $469.99.
