Springfield Armory has announced its newest pistol caliber carbine in the Victor line: the California-compliant SAINT Victor 9mm. This new version of the SAINT Carbine AR has similar features to the regular SAINT with a few tweaks, so residents of California can legally own it.
The SAINT Victor California-compliant carbine is chambered in 9mm and has features like the Magpul fixed stock with QD attachment and the Strike Industries compliant pistol grip which satisfies the California DOJ requirements. Additionally, the carbine comes from Springfield with one Colt-pattern limited 10-round magazine. These key features allow would-be owners the ability to own this version versus the original model.
“This new SAINT Victor 9mm Carbine adds another option to the SAINT Victor line for residents of the state of California,” said Steve Kramer, Vice President of Marketing for Springfield Armory. “Featuring the rugged performance of a direct blowback system, the SAINT Victor in 9mm makes for a great addition to any California firearms enthusiast’s collection.”
Featuring forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers with Type III anodizing, the CA-compliant rifle uses a direct blowback system for better reliability and combined durability. The carbine features a 16” CMV barrel with a Melonite coating and a Springfield Armory Muzzle Drum affixed to the end, all free-floating inside the full-length aluminum handguard. The handguard features SA’s locking tabs along with the M-LOK to easily attach accessories as needed.
On top of the upper is a set of adjustable low-profile spring-loaded flip-up sights. The carbine uses a Nickel Boron-coated flat trigger, an ambidextrous safety switch, and a standard charging handle. Rounding out the features of the SA California-compliant SAINT rifle is an overall length of 32.75” and an overall weight of just under 7 pounds unloaded.
The California-compliant Springfield SAINT 9mm PCC is available now and has a price tag of $1,299.
