Folks who reside in areas with capacity restrictions — rejoice! Springfield Armory has given you another option when it comes to low-capacity pistol caliber carbines with its 10-round SAINT Victor 9mm carbine. This PCC joins the already popular Victor line of AR-type firearms from Springfield.
The SAINT Victor 9mm carbine is built for performance with forged 7075 T6 aluminum dedicated 9mm matching upper and lower receivers. Both pieces have Type III hardcoat anodizing with the lower featuring the Accu-Tite Tension System.
“The SAINT Victor 9mm Carbine adds yet another layer of capability to the SAINT Victor line,” said Steve Kramer, Vice President of Marketing for Springfield Armory. “And now with this new 10-round offering, even more shooters have access to this capable 9mm PCC.”
For an added touch of reliability, the SAINT Victor 9mm uses a direct blowback system with a Melonite-coated 16” barrel. The barrel freefloats inside the full-length M-LOK handguard which leaves ample space for the addition of accessories for the user. A Springfield Armory Forward Blast Diverter that sits recessed at the end of the handguard.
The lower receiver features an ambidextrous safety switch ensuring use by both left- and right-handed shooters, a B5 Systems Type 23 P-Grip, and a B5 Systems trigger guard. Also on the dedicated lower is the six-position collapsible B5 Systems Bravo Stock with an ergonomic cheek weld and buttpad with a no-slip cushion.
Rounding out the features of the SAINT Victor are spring-loaded flip-up low-profile sights which are adjustable, and a nickel boron-coated flat trigger. The PCC comes with one 10-round Colt-patterned magazine. The total package weighs just under seven total pounds. As an added bonus, each SAINT rifle ships from the company with a padded rifle case. The Springfield SAINT Victor has an MSRP of $1,299.
