Smith & Wesson M&P 10mm M2.0 Performance Center Pistol

Smith & Wesson has taken the proven M&P 10mm M2.0 pistol to the next level with the Performance Center M&P10mm 2.0 pistol.

The Performance Center version of the M&P10mm M2.0 pistol is a full-sized polymer frame handgun chambered in 10mm Auto. The pistol boasts a 5.6” ported barrel that helps reduce muzzle flip and felt recoil that allows for faster follow-up shots for the shooter. The barrel sits inside the optics-ready slide complete with optic-height tritium night sights that allow for a clean sight picture even in low-light conditions.

The pistol has a flat M2.0 trigger that has been enhanced from the Performance Center tuning. The trigger has a crisp break and an audible reset that Smith & Wesson states is more accurate and allows for faster shooting. The M&P pistol uses the patented take-down lever and sear deactivation system which means the pistol can be disassembled without having to pull the trigger.

The embedded stainless steel frame is said to be at the optimal 18-degree grip angle for a natural point of aim for the shooter. Additionally, the pistol has an enhanced grip texture and comes with four interchangeable palmswell grip inserts so the shooter can fit the pistol to their palm better (S, M, ML, and L sizing).

“The new Performance Center 10mm was conceived with both the hunter and target shooter in mind. The goal was to build upon the M2.0 10mm series, with the intention of having reduced felt recoil and quicker follow-up shots. Popular features previously seen on other 5.6-inch PC pistols are present in this design and, when paired with the flat-shooting 10mm Auto cartridge, provide the end user a total package for hunting, self-defense, or at the range,” said John Myles, Senior Manager of New Products.

The Smith & Wesson M&P10mm M2.0 Performance Center pistol boasts an Armornite durable finish that is corrosion resistant, so the pistol will last. The pistol has an overall weight of just over 31 ounces and the overall size means it’s easy to conceal at 1.3” wide and 8.6” long. The pistol ships with two 15-round magazines and has an MSRP of $749.00.

Patti Miller is one of the most awesome females in the tactical/firearm (or any) industry. Imagine a tall, hawt, dangerous Laura Ingalls Wilder type with cool hair and a suppressed blaster and you'll be getting the idea. What's interesting is that in addition to being a willing brawler and intrepid adventuress, she's also an Ent/Ogier level gardener and a truly badass baker.
