Sig Sauer CROSS Magnum Bolt-Action Rifle: Precision, Power, Performance

A few years ago, Sig Sauer announced the CROSS bolt-action hunting rifle. It made quite a splash, being the first the company’s first bolt-action offering since the company released the SSG 3000 in 1992. Designed with the input of hunters, military snipers, and elite long-range snipers, the CROSS marked a fresh and innovative approach to hunting rifles. It’s a versatile package that seamlessly blends tactical and sporting elements. The original model was available in 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win., SIG .277 Fury, followed by the CROSS-PRS and CROSS STX, both available in .208 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor.

The new Sig CROSS Magnum is a bolt-action rifle, currently available chambered in 300 Win Mag, though more chamberings are expected soon. It has a 24” user changeable 5R barrel, aluminum coyote anodized frame, and a two-stage match trigger. Other features include the new magnum action receiver with a free-floating handguard, a full-length M-LOK and ARCA rail handguard, forward angle PRS style grip and right thumb rest safety, and a folding adjustable precision stock. The rifle with a 6-round AICS magazine.
