Founded in 2009, Franklin Armory began manufacturing and distributing California-compliant AR-style rifles. Since then, Franklin Armory has carved out a niche in the industry producing Binary triggers for many popular firearms. For 2024, the company announced the release of its fifteenth and newest Binary Firing System, the SP-S1 for the Stribog SP9.
The new SP-S1 Binary trigger is designed for both the A1 and A3 models of Grand Power’s popular Stribog SP9. The SP-S1 is engineered with Franklin Armory’s proven and patented Binary Firing System. It features a three-position selectable trigger: Position One, safe; Position Two, semiautomatic; Position Three, Binary. In Binary mode, the trigger pull fires one round while the trigger release fires a second round.
As with all Franklin Armory binary triggers, the SP-S1 can cancel the release round. To accomplish this, simply move the ambidextrous selector on either side of the receiver from Binary to the “semi” or “safe” position before releasing the trigger.
For the 2024 SHOT Show, the SP-S1 will be presented alongside Franklin Armory’s full binary trigger line (Booth #20349). Franklin Armory will begin taking orders at the show. The trigger’s MSRP is $499.99.
