Sabatti Bolt-Action Rifles Coming to US

Bolt-action rifles have myriad applications from hunting to precision to target use. There are even gun owners who utilize them for home defense. Of course, finding a well-made bolt-action rifle at a reasonable price point can be a bit of a challenge. For those who love or are interested in Italian-made bolt-actions, there’s Sabatti, a renowned manufacturer based in Italy whose rifles will now be imported into the United States on a much larger scale.

Sabatti is renowned for its bolt-action rifles in Italy, and certain models have been offered in the U.S., but it’s been a bit limited. Now that Sabatti rifles will be imported on a larger scale, it’s only a matter of time until their popularity grows. The Italian gun maker is known for producing reliably performing bolts for everything from hunting to precision shooting and their existing line of models is extensive.

The company has three centuries of history in precision barrel making and gun making, and the proof is in the performance of its modern firearms. Sabatti is located in Val Trompia, a mountainous region in northern Italy, in the province of Brescia. According to the gun maker, the region has been known for metalworking and gun-making prowess for centuries. So not only does the company itself have a background steeped in history, tradition, and quality, but so does the area it is based in.

The specifics of which models will be imported and when are not known at this time, only that the company intends to make progress on imports during the current year. It should be interesting to see the name gain brand recognition here in the United States.
