Ruger, also known as Sturm, Ruger & Company, has announced the Fifth Edition of the Ruger Collector’s Series, the National Ruger Day 10/22 carbine. This special edition 10/22 rifle from Ruger comes with specialty memorabilia and is a must-have addition to any collection.
The National 10/22 Day Ruger rifle is a .22LR rifle featuring Collector’s Series bolt markings and has an 18.5-inch barrel, similar to other Ruger 10/22 rifles. This rifle has a dipped American Camo synthetic stock, which pairs nicely with the black satin forged barrel, Ruger-installed flash hider, and receiver. The barrel is cold-hammer-forged and has factory 1/2×28 threading for the installed flash hider. Additionally, the rifle has a protected, non-glare blade front sight with an adjustable ghost ring rear sight and a factory-installed one-piece Picatinny rail for easy scope mounting.
While being a part of the Collector’s Series, this 10/22 model still has the same features that users love from other 10/22 models. Things like a push-button, cross-bolt safety for easy manipulations, tried-and-true Ruger action for reliable use, and a detachable 10-round rotary magazine. This new model of 10/22 features the same stock and receiver aesthetics for a familiar look and feel with a distinct look. Rounding out the features for the special edition 10/22 is the glass-filled polymer trigger housing able to withstand the elements, an overall weight of 4.9 pounds unloaded, and an overall length of 38.5 inches.
The Ruger’s Collector’s Series National Ruger Day 10/22 rifle comes with one magazine and the special edition memorabilia, including a Fifth Edition Ruger Collector’s Series bumper sticker, pin, and commemorative metal street sign. The Ruger Collector’s Series National Ruger Day 10/22 rifle has an MSRP of $439 and is available now.
