Faxon Firearms has announced the release of the FX7 Pershing bolt-action rifle series, a premium line of bolt guns chambered in .308 Winchester or 6.5 Creedmoor. The new collection also includes precision rifles, barreled actions, pre-fit barrels, and complete actions, all backed by Faxon’s Lifetime Guarantee.
The FX7 Pershing bolt-action rifle chambered in .308 Winchester is up first. As a piece of Faxon’s dedication to its manufacturing, the rifle features a 22-inch M24 profiled 416R stainless steel barrel and a 416R stainless steel action body. The bolt is constructed from 4340 carbon steel with Faxon’s Original Flame fluting pattern. The rifle also features a co-branded MDT/Faxon chassis and an MDT Skeleton stock in a grey Cerakote finish.
The rifle is so loaded with features that it’s hard to list them all out, but to help round out the list are 5/8×24 threads on the nitride salt bath-finished barrel, a 20-MOA Picatinny rail, and compatibility with the AICS/AW magazines and Remington 700 pattern triggers. The rifle ships from the factory with a Triggertech Rem 700 Primary trigger, an overall weight of 12 pounds, and an overall length of 41.75 inches. The FX7 Pershing Bolt Action rifle in .308 Winchester is available now with a price tag of $2,600.
The 24-inch barrel comes equipped with 5/8×24 threads, a recessed target crown, and an M24 profile. The 6.5 Creedmoor also features a Triggertech Remington 700 Primary trigger and an integrated 20-MOA Picatinny rail for easy mounting of accessories. The FX7 Pershing rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor is compatible with other FX7 pre-fit barrels and similar items, along with AICS/AW magazines and the Remington 700 pattern triggers. The rifle has an overall weight of 12.5 pounds and an overall length of 44 inches. The Faxon FX7 Pershing Bolt Action rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor has an MSRP of $2,600.
