European American Armory Corp (EAA) and Girsan have announced their latest addition to the MC14 pistol family with the MC14 G84. This .380 ACP chambered pistol features a double stack capacity, perfect for concealed carry, according to the companies.
The MC14 family of pistols from EAA/Girsan includes the tip-up models released earlier this year and now includes this .380 ACP G84 model. The companies state the new MC14 G84 is yet another way to provide the community with an affordable pistol that is also high quality. With a good mix of quality and performance, the Girsan MC14 G84 is no exception.
The newest MC14 pistol is said to have a 13+1 magazine capacity and will have compatibility with the traditional MC14 pistols in addition to the new MC14BDA and the similar 84 series magazines. The pistol also features composite grips on an aluminum frame for a lightweight package. The MC14 G84 also has a smooth double-action/single-action trigger and an ambidextrous frame safety, so it’s easy to use for both right- and left-handed shooters.
There isn’t a whole lot of information available for the new model on the company’s website. Still, judging by photos, the pistol has serrations on the slide for easy manipulation along with the thumb rest built into the grip for a more natural grip. It also doesn’t appear as if the frame features an accessory rail, so mounting additional accessories might not be able to happen. But to round out the features of the MC14 G84 are integrated 3-dot sights and either an All-Black or Two-Tone finish option.
EAA/Girsan state the pistol offers both affordability and performance without compromising quality. The Girsan MC14 G84 .380 ACP pistol is priced competitively with other similar models, around $370, and is available now. This will help concealed carry folks with yet another option when it comes to the price point with reliability, quality, and capacity.
