Armasight Unveils Jockey Series Thermal Clip-on Optic

Armasight has expanded its line with the addition to the Jockey 320 Compact Thermal Clip-On and Jockey 640 Compact Thermal Clip-On models, which are designed for a range of users – including hunters, law enforcement personnel, search and rescue teams, and outdoor enthusiasts. The optics are designed to quickly convert a standard daytime rifle setup into a Thermal platform, providing users with the ability to detect heat signatures and movement in complete darkness or challenging weather conditions.

The Jockey 320 Compact Thermal Clip-On offers a high frame rate and exceptional image quality, delivering clear and detailed thermal imagery for improved target identification and tracking capabilities, while the Jockey 640 Compact Thermal Clip-On adds advanced features, including multiple color palettes, image enhancement options, and long-range detection capabilities, making it suitable for more demanding and specialized applications. Both feature a rugged construction and reliable performance, ensuring consistent operation in harsh environments and unpredictable situations.

Key features include an ArmaCore 12-micron thermal core and smooth 60Hz frame rate with seamless operation and unparalleled visual acuity through Armasight’s Iron Wolf thermal technology. Both optics can seamlessly mount to the front of any existing 1-6x day scope without tools, with zero additional calibration. The optics are recoil-rated up to 223/.556. The Jockey 320 and Jockey 640 also offer video and image capture and USB video streaming, with a USB-C interface that allows for easy sharing of recordings and photos on external devices. Three-button controls allow for effortless, intuitive operation.

The Armasight Jockey 320 and Armasight Jockey 640 ship with a thermal imaging clip-on optic, quick detach mount, USB-C cable, thermal zeroing target, manual two CR123A batteries, lens cloth, and soft case. The Armasight Jockey 320 is available at retail and online for $2,499 (MSRP), while Armasight Jockey 640 is now available for $3,799.
