Springfield Saint Victor: Pistol Caliber Carbine

Pistol caliber carbines are becoming increasingly popular thanks to their versatility and use in matches. They’re convenient, too, thanks to the frequent ability to swap out magazines with handguns you already own. The Springfield Armory Saint Victor is a pistol caliber carbine in a class all its own. It’s part of the proven Saint family of firearms, chambered in a cartridge preferred by the majority of self-defense shooters, and designed with an eye for reliable performance.

The SAINT Victor pistol caliber carbine (PCC) is the first member of the SAINT family to be chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. The gun is designed utilizing Springfield’s proven direct blowback system for reliability and consistent cycling. It ships with a 32-round Colt pattern magazine. This is a PCC to take a closer look at whether you’re in the market for a fun gun, running PCCs in matches, or looking for this type of gun for home defense.

The receiver of the Saint Victor 9mm PCC is made from 7075 T6 aluminum for rigidity, durability, and fatigue resistance. It’s also anodized black for resistance to wear and tear. A 16-inch barrel puts this gun in the carbine category and it is, of course, a semi-automatic. The 9mm chambering and general design make it soft recoiling; in fact, felt recoil and muzzle rise are so negligible as to be non-existent. And thanks to a telescoping synthetic B5 Bravo stock, length of pull can be adjusted to comfortably fit the shooter.

The Saint Victor 9mm is also easy to customize to your personal needs thanks to an M-LOK compatible free-float handguard. M-LOK runs the full length of all sides of the handguard, so you can place aftermarket accessories such as lights and lasers wherever you want. In addition, the gun has a Picatinny rail atop the receiver, making it simple to add a red dot sight or other optics. Each gun ships with flip-up front and rear iron sights so the gun can be run straight out of the box.
