As the founder and CEO of the Warrior Poet Society, John Lovell – a former U.S. Army Ranger and Christian missionary – has garnered more than 100 million views across social media and streaming platforms where he spreads a message that is dedicated to physical protection, the pursuit of truth, and living for a higher purpose.
This month, Georgia-based Daniel Defense announced that it has partnered with Lovell to launch the Signature Series — the company’s limited edition once-of-a-kind rifles that are built in small batches. The WPSM4A1 was designed by Lovell to be a shooter’s go-to, do-it-all rifle.
“I’ve loved Daniel Defense for ages. About a decade ago, I bought my very first, really nice rifle — a Daniel Defense M4A1,” said John Lovell of the Warrior Poet Society. “It’s the gun I trust my life with. Now, here we are, doing a collab, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.”
A Gun Fit For A Warrior Poet
Chambered in 5.56mm NATO, the completely custom-built features the company’s cutting-edge and heavy-duty RIS III rail, which gained fame for its SOCOM legacy and solid 6-bolt system. The latest in the Signature Series will be further paired with the Holosun 515 GM atop the Unity FAST Micro Mount and a pinned and welded Surefire Warcomp, as well as the Radian Raptor charging handle, Radian Talon safety, and Railscales components. John Lovell’s WPSM4A1 offers the Geissele SSA trigger to make every shot crisp and consistent.
In a first for the company, it will feature an OD Green Cerakote that is meant to set the WPSM4A1 apart from any Daniel Defense rifle currently on the market.
“This initiative is incredibly important to us. We handpick partners who share our passion and values, then work with them to design their signature firearm,” said Rod Reasen, the CEO of Daniel Defense.
