Bushmaster, a name synonymous with American-made rifles, has expanded its rifle line-up with the .450 Bushmaster BOAR rifle. The rifle is heralded as the ultimate hunting tool with the “Beast Of A Round” ballistics in the .450 caliber.
With the powerful .450 Bushmaster round, this rifle is sure to be a hit for any big game hunter. The Bushmaster BOAR rifle features a Carbine Length Gas System inside a 7075 Forged XM15-E2S Lower receiver and 7075 Forged Modified A4 Flat Top Upper receiver. With a heavy buffer spring in the fitted Magpul UBR GEN2 Collapsible Stock, the shooter will experience significantly reduced felt recoil.
In addition to the Magpul stock, the Bushmaster BOAR also features a Magpul MOE Enhanced Trigger Guard and MOE Grip for more comfort and control along with a Bushmaster DM2S 2-Stage trigger for more accuracy. The BOAR has a 4150 CMV barrel, along with the bolt carrier group, which sports a Salt Bath Nitride finish for durability. The barrel rests inside the 15” BFI MLOK handguard which offers an optimal grip for better handling, according to Bushmaster.
At the end of the barrel sits the Bushmaster Snake Charmer muzzle brake on ½” X 28 threads. Reportedly, the brake is specifically designed to work to calm the .450 Bushmaster round. The .450 Bushmaster BOAR rifle weighs in around 7.3 pounds when it’s unloaded, making it a good option for in the field. The overall length tops out at 41.5” with the stock fully extended.
