GForce Arms GF9 Rapture 9mm

The GF9 Rapture from GForce Arms is heavy in compatibility with Glock components, meaning it has a fully customizable trigger, slide, and optics, just to name a few items. It is said to be a game changer for aftermarket platforms, and the company has announced that it’s now shipping.

The GF9 pistol is chambered in 9mm and comes standard from the factory with many upgraded features. Two of those features make the GF9 Rapture optics-ready right out of the box, including fiber optic front and rear sights and an optic cut slide. The optics cut on the slide means the pistol will be compatible with any optic that uses the RMR or Shield footprint. Not only that, but GForce Arms has a list of optics that are compatible with the GF9 Rapture without having to use an optics adapter.

The slide comes from the factory with front and rear slide serrations that assist with faster manipulation. Inside the slide, a 3.25” 9mm hammer-forged precision barrel adds to the accuracy and durability of the weapon. The frame is a glass-filled polymer and steel blend, so it is tough. The grip features aggressive stippling for a tactile feel while aiding in maneuvering the pistol and managing recoil. Along with the heavy thumb rest, the GF9 Rapture comes with four additional grip backstraps to let the shooter achieve their ideal hold.

The GF9 Rapture pistol has a flat-faced trigger which is said to deliver a silky smooth pull. The pistol features many parts that are Glock compatible, and according to the company, can be swapped out easily to upgrade the pistol to the shooter’s desires. The company stated the design of the pistol allows the end user to add different trigger weights, slide ergonomics, swap out barrels, add on a suppressor, or use different optics.

The GForce Arms GF9 Rapture pistol is an American-made pistol and has a “no questions asked” lifetime warranty. The GF9 Rapture, currently shipping out to dealers, has an MSRP of $379.
