Wayne LaPierre Resigns from NRA

Longtime National Rifle Association CEO and Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre has resigned from the organization. LaPierre cited health reasons when announcing his resignation, which will be effective January 31, 2024. LaPierre and other NRA officials are set to stand trial on corruption charges in New York, where the NRA is chartered.
