Taurus Firearms: The Ones We Can’t Get

The world of Taurus firearms is far more expansive than we get here in the US. Around the world, they make available some interesting choices.

The Vortex Defender Series: ST vs CCW Comparison

The Vortex Defender series started with the Defender-CCW and has expanded into the Defender-ST. I would pick the Defender-ST as a budget optic for a handgun and endorse it wholeheartedly. It's definitely an improvement over the Defender-CCW.

Gucci Guns: Practical or Expensive Paperweights?

The concept of being "Gucci" extends into all facets of popular culture and guns are no different. Question is, how much is too much?

Beretta 3032 vs. The 30X: Tip-Up Slug Fest

The Beretta 30X is a welcome improvement to the 3032 in some ways and an exciting step back in others. It’s bigger, which makes it comfier to shoot but tougher to conceal. The durability factor delivers a significant improvement to the gun. Which is better? I’d suggest the 30X, hoping Beretta or someone else will release seven-round mags and thin grips. I still like the 3032, but it might not be for you if you’re unwilling to pay attention to your ammo selection.

The ENDO Adapter: Brace Your Glock

Why shouldn't I turn my Glock into a PDW? A little company called Endo Tactical produced one of the more interesting Glock accessories on the market.

The Grendel P12: The Proto Pocket .380 ACP

What surprised me more than anything was the reliability of the gun. I fired 150 rounds of Fioochi 95 grain through the gun and it all went bang. It was problem-free. That's not a lot of ammo, but I wasn't going to torture test a gun that's not been on the market for 30 years.

Tier Lists Are Ridiculous

My thoughts on tier lists are pretty simple. There are two types of firearms: Guns that work and guns that don’t. That's it.

Beretta 30X: A New Tomcat

The 30X revives and remixes the 3032 series. At its core, the 30X is still a micro-sized DA/SA gun that uses a tip-up barrel design and a straightforward blowback design. Let's check it out.

Pancho Villa: The Guns of a Legend

The legend of Pancho Villa is a wild one. A man of many stories and many firearms take center stage in those stories. Today, we'll take a look at some of those stories and arms associated with the legend.

Calico M950: The Future Blaster That Never Was

I only have one drum for the M950, but I imagine reloads aren't super fast. The gun lacks a last-round bolt hold open device. There is a manual bolt lock but not an automatic one. It's also a process to remove and insert a new magazine. I guess that's a good argument for getting the 100-round drum instead of the 50-round drum. Who needs to reload then?
